In the 22nd minute, Calisto Zaplana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, S.D NARCEA's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Fernandez came free, but Germán Figueres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Valverde hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Germán Figueres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Tormes, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Manel Quintanilla came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. S.D NARCEA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asturcones d´la Abadía the free kick. S.D NARCEA were furious when Roldán Quijana was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Asturcones d´la Abadía had won after a very even match.
