Aniol Paris came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by S.D NARCEA's Eugeniusz Milko. But to his dismay, Eugeniusz Milko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Aniol Paris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugeniusz Milko in the 27th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Radomil Jaraczeski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Germán Figueres. That made the score 1-2 in the 28 minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Sociedad Deportiva Aboque's Aníbal Marinho made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Germán Figueres was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, S.D NARCEA's Germán Figueres got control of the ball when Gudesteo Paredes tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Orlando Montes came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the S.D NARCEA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Montes couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, S.D NARCEA's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Marinho came free, but Germán Figueres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Aníbal Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germán Figueres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aníbal Marinho made a kick off. After some careless play in the S.D NARCEA defense, Radomil Jaraczeski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Germán Figueres. The S.D NARCEA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Germán Figueres should have stopped the shot. Austin Aznar kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Germán Figueres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Aniol Paris came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by S.D NARCEA's Orlando Montes. But to his dismay, Orlando Montes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Germán Figueres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Jaraczeski, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th match minute, S.D NARCEA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seve Coello to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toni Buenafuente during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sociedad Deportiva Aboque's Toni Buenafuente got a free kick in the 71st minute. Pietro Macia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Aniol Paris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to S.D NARCEA getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Boleslaw Pacholewski hit a great ball. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for S.D NARCEA! Germán Figueres had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Toni Buenafuente's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 80th minute Gudesteo Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germán Figueres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ioan Zărnescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Aníbal Marinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Radomil Jaraczeski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Germán Figueres was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Manel Quintanilla hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes S.D NARCEA got a freekick which was hit by Calisto Zaplana. 97 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Milko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aniol Paris, 4-4. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
