Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Igor Maruda started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Bertram Svenningsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Elano de Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Igor Maruda hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Itonia AD's Elano de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Bertram Svenningsen notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Itonia AD's Elano de Lima. Elano de Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chris Nygaard hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Itonia AD's Elano de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Igor Maruda made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Rodrigo Sampaio got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lucjan Bronder. After the first half Denmark were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elano de Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Elano de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Elano de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Lars Steen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Steen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Itonia AD's Elano de Lima got control of the ball when Bertram Svenningsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodrigo Sampaio made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Olav Graversen. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Lima in the 70th minute of play. Mikkel Wulff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano de Lima having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Lima during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Itonia AD's Aldo Lima got a free kick in the 77th minute. Rodrigo Sampaio made in the 83rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lucjan Bronder immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Maruda in the 84th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 minutes, Bjarne Kirkegaard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denmark and the Itonia AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard got a free kick in the 85th minute. Mikkel Wulff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Elano de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denmark played a much better game than Itonia AD and deserved their victory. The Itonia AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
