Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Igor Maruda started the match with the kick off. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 3rd minute of play forced Itonia AD's goalkeeper Elano de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lucjan Bronder fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itonia AD's protests and gave Lucjan Bronder a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Itonia AD getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Lucjan Bronder hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, Denmark's Chris Nygaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elano de Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute of the match Itonia AD got a corner. Denmark's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nando Coelho ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lucjan Bronder made a great header on Itonia AD's corner, it was just that Denmark's Keld Paulsen managed to reach the ball for a save. After 33 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Bjarne Kirkegaard. Nando Coelho's shot from long distance in the 34th minute was not bad at all, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Igor Maruda sent off a good shot on target. Elano de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 39th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Sampaio hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The supporters of Denmark booed when Itonia AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Maruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elano de Lima made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Chris Nygaard sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Itonia AD getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Aldo Lima hit a great ball. Itonia AD's Elano de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikkel Wulff in the 66th minute of play. Elano de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. A collision led to Itonia AD getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Rodrigo Sampaio hit a great ball. Elano de Lima made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Chris Nygaard sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Miguel Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itonia AD's goalkeeper Elano de Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Aldo Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itonia AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. After 86 played minutes Itonia AD got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Lima. Mathias Ludvigsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
