The wind increased when Igor Maruda made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Igor Maruda put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vavrinec Holub. In the 58th minute Denis Dostal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Bronder came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kvetoslav Janku hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Maruda in the 69th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Maruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 89 minutes, Svatopluk Capek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Czech Republic and the Itonia AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svatopluk Capek to maneuver through the defense. When Kvetoslav Janku fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Czech Republic's protests and gave Kvetoslav Janku a yellow card for diving instead. Nando Coelho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. There was no doubt that Itonia AD were the better team. Itonia AD's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
