Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Igor Maruda got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute, Itonia AD's Igor Maruda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, Mikkel Wulff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Elano de Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bertram Svenningsen took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elano de Lima. Elano de Lima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Chris Nygaard sped through Itonia AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elano de Lima. Lars Steen kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Denmark got a corner. Itonia AD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chris Nygaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. Elano de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertram Svenningsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd match minute, Itonia AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Senna to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elano de Lima was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. 46 minutes into the game, Denmark's Lars Steen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elano de Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Lucjan Bronder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Itonia AD's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Elano de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Itonia AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Lima to maneuver through the defense. Elano de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertram Svenningsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute of the match, Chris Nygaard tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elano de Lima saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Itonia AD's Elano de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Miguel Medeiros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itonia AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Nygaard got free with Elano de Lima in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Denmark fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Denmark's Chris Nygaard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 82nd minute, Miguel Medeiros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. In the 90th match minute, Itonia AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Maruda to maneuver through the defense. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Elano de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Igor Maruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elano de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 95th minute of the match. Denmark played a much better game than Itonia AD and deserved their victory. The Itonia AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
