Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Frank Sachs made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd minute, Frank Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaja Jamak, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Björn Magnusson succeeded in the game's 6th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Björn Magnusson scored 2-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryant Miles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Charlotte FC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Charlotte FC's Wander Suzanne looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 24th minute of play forced Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Bryant Miles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Wander Suzanne tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Charlotte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaja Jamak to maneuver through the defense. Björn Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wander Suzanne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Björn Magnusson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Bryant Miles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wander Suzanne in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Charlotte FC's Kaja Jamak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Bryant Miles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Germany were awarded a corner. Frank Sachs went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 64th minute of the game Lane Velasco made a throw-in which Kaja Jamak played forward. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Germany:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Charlotte FC:s goal. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Charlotte FC. Wander Suzanne stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tommy Kahn. 6-0. Lane Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Magnusson came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charlotte FC the free kick. After 85 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. In the 87th minute Björn Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bryant Miles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 94th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Björn Magnusson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Björn Magnusson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 96th minute.
