Arne Kråk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Mac Allister in the 19th minute of play. Florencio Ereinotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandinho Pombal having to interfere. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ferdinand Seremet sped through Legion of Boom's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fernandinho Pombal. After 28 minutes, Chiquinho Vargas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Legion of Boom and the Potrerillo Azuleño players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Legion of Boom getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Chiquinho Vargas hit a great ball. Fernandinho Pombal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferdinand Seremet in the 29th minute. When Ferdinand Seremet came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Potrerillo Azuleño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinand Seremet couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Ferdinand Seremet sped through Legion of Boom's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fernandinho Pombal. Florencio Ereinotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernandinho Pombal came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Potrerillo Azuleño's Ferdinand Seremet. But to his dismay, Ferdinand Seremet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Ferdinand Seremet put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fernandinho Pombal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisito Suárez was the one to do the kick off. Fernandinho Pombal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdinand Seremet's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. When Potrerillo Azuleño's Ferdinand Seremet in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Potrerillo Azuleño's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Seremet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Legion of Boom's Fernandinho Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Seremet in the 65th minute of play. After 67 minutes of play, Potrerillo Azuleño's Ferdinand Seremet made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernandinho Pombal was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Seremet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Fernandinho Pombal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Legion of Boom getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Alessandro Capixaba hit a great ball. Potrerillo Azuleño's Ferdinand Seremet got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Seremet in the 81st minute of play forced Legion of Boom's goalkeeper Fernandinho Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Ferdinand Seremet made a precise shot to the right of Fernandinho Pombal. Legion of Boom's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. When Potrerillo Azuleño's Ferdinand Seremet in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 93rd match minute, Legion of Boom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Potrerillo Azuleño's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
