The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 15th match minute, Robotnicy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliusz Januszewski to maneuver through the defense. Stanislaw Kasprzak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buenaventura Paniagua, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 17 played minutes Robotnicy got a freekick which was hit by Tomasz Majerowicz. Stanislaw Kasprzak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Santamaria in the 26th minute. Buenaventura Paniagua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Stanislaw Kasprzak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Alex Santamaria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanislaw Kasprzak was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 43rd minute, Tomasz Majerowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Buenaventura Paniagua in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stanislaw Kasprzak, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Robotnicy's Stanislaw Kasprzak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Santamaria in the 53rd minute of play. When OROTINENSE's Buenaventura Paniagua in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Robotnicy's goalie prevented a goal. When Buenaventura Paniagua came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the OROTINENSE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Buenaventura Paniagua couldn't finish the play. Roman Tyski kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Stanislaw Kasprzak came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by OROTINENSE's Manrique Loria. But to his dismay, Manrique Loria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Alex Santamaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Stanislaw Kasprzak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Santamaria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislaw Kasprzak having to interfere. The supporters of OROTINENSE booed when Robotnicy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludomil Kinic didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th match minute, OROTINENSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manrique Loria to maneuver through the defense. OROTINENSE made a substitution. Reinaldo Molina replaced Ulises Villegas. If Alex Santamaria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, OROTINENSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Molina to maneuver through the defense. After 81 played minutes OROTINENSE got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Montealegre. Stanislaw Kasprzak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Santamaria in the 88th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Tomasz Majerowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
