Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Claudinei Albuquerque took the kick off in the first half of the match. Danilo Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gilvan Faria came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the EDI MZB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilvan Faria couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Braga Junior FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Duda Oliveira hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the match, Belmiro Sanches tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcinho Pernambucano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcinho Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes Braga Junior FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgar do Valle. 23 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Belmiro Sanches came free, but Marcinho Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcinho Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Sanches in the 30th minute of play. With a little luck, Braga Junior FC's Marcinho Pernambucano got control of the ball when Gilvan Faria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcinho Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Passos in the 37th minute of the match. Braga Junior FC's Marcinho Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Albuquerque in the 39th minute of play. After some careless play in the EDI MZB defense, Samuel Paraíba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danilo Pires. The EDI MZB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danilo Pires should have stopped the shot. Fernandinho Veiga charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernandinho Veiga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes Braga Junior FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho Veiga.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Paraíba was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Belmiro Sanches came free, but Marcinho Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Sanches in the 54th minute of play forced Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Marcinho Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcinho Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Sanches in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Samuel Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcinho Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The audience was convinced that Belmiro Sanches's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcinho Pernambucano was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. After 96 played minutes, EDI MZB's Rubinho Costa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcinho Pernambucano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in EDI MZB reached it. When the final whistle went the supporters of Braga Junior FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant EDI MZB side.
