Oséas Dias was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dadá Maravilha was the one to do the kick off. Oséas Dias took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Quintal. After a defensive mix-up in Independente FC's zone, Dadá Maravilha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Quintal came out of the goal and Dadá Maravilha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st match minute, AF GuiFiguer OUT!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséas Dias to maneuver through the defense. José Maria Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Carlos de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute.
