After some careless play in the EDI MZB defense, Evaristo Ramalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Bueno. The EDI MZB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Bueno should have stopped the shot. Telmo Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Barreto in the 8th minute of play. Telmo Bueno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaká Cardozo went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hélio Baiano during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to EDI MZB getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Hélio Baiano hit a great ball. The supporters of EDI MZB booed when AF GuiFiguer OUT!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Alberto Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Kaká Cardozo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Telmo Bueno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Telmo Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséas Dias in the 28th minute of the match. José Maria Loureiro came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by EDI MZB's Gilvan Faria. But to his dismay, Gilvan Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s José Maria Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save AF GuiFiguer OUT!! from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute, Carlos Alberto Figueiredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Bueno was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After 47 minutes, Evaristo Ramalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AF GuiFiguer OUT!! and the EDI MZB players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of EDI MZB booed when AF GuiFiguer OUT!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s Evaristo Ramalho got a free kick in the 48th minute. 49 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's Rubinho Costa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Alberto Figueiredo was the one to do the kick off. EDI MZB's Telmo Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto Figueiredo in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, AF GuiFiguer OUT!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. With 67 minutes on the clock, Fábio Alves commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 67th minute, Fábio Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telmo Bueno was a little too slow when Yuri Barreto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 1-5. After some careless play in the EDI MZB defense, Kaká Cardozo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Bueno. The EDI MZB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Bueno should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute, Hélio Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaká Cardozo came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Telmo Bueno could save by the left post. When EDI MZB's Tiago Machado in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s goalie prevented a goal. Telmo Bueno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Alberto Figueiredo in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Alberto Figueiredo got free with Telmo Bueno in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over AF GuiFiguer OUT!! could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than EDI MZB throughout the match.
