In the 6th minute Antonio Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yuri Barreto took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidro Madrigal. Isidro Madrigal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Kaká Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Isidro Madrigal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 played minutes OROTINENSE got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Vindas. Carlos Alberto Figueiredo scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidro Madrigal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s José Maria Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Sancho in the 28th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oséas Dias during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s Oséas Dias got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Dadá Maravilha came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the AF GuiFiguer OUT!! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dadá Maravilha couldn't finish the play. After 37 minutes of play, AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s Kaká Cardozo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidro Madrigal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the AF GuiFiguer OUT!! defense, Antonio Navarro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Maria Loureiro. The AF GuiFiguer OUT!! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria Loureiro should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Alberto Figueiredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. José Maria Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, OROTINENSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Isidro Madrigal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséas Dias in the 61st minute of play. Isidro Madrigal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséas Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Yuri Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Isidro Madrigal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. OROTINENSE's Isidro Madrigal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto Figueiredo in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of AF GuiFiguer OUT!! booed when OROTINENSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Saenz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yuri Barreto in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidro Madrigal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of OROTINENSE booed when AF GuiFiguer OUT!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidro Madrigal came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s Carlos Alberto Figueiredo. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto Figueiredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 87th minute, Oséas Dias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidro Madrigal was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Isidro Madrigal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséas Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. OROTINENSE's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
