Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd match minute, Åstäppa FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uno Lundkvist to maneuver through the defense. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charles Hughes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åstäppa FK the free kick. In the 8th minute, Frank Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Czeslaw Czajkowski in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Czeslaw Czajkowski scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 1-0. Chris Mergenthaler made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Åstäppa FK's Joe Gort. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Peter Örtendal tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, Åstäppa FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joe Gort to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Hughes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Czeslaw Czajkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Åstäppa FK's Charles Hughes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 36th minute of play. Czeslaw Czajkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Peter Örtendal took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Charles Hughes made a huge save. In the 57th match minute, Åstäppa FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Erik Lindman to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Hughes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After taking down the ball on Germany's corner Frank Sachs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Charles Hughes quite easily take care of the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Peter Örtendal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 71 minutes into the match, Åstäppa FK's goalkeeper Charles Hughes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 74th minute of play forced Åstäppa FK's goalkeeper Charles Hughes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles Hughes made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. The corner ended in Peter Örtendal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. In the 91st minute of the match Åstäppa FK got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peter Örtendal ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peter Örtendal made a great header on Åstäppa FK's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Czeslaw Czajkowski in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Czajkowski came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Czeslaw Czajkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Åstäppa FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Åstäppa FK fully deserved thier win.
