Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval da Costa having to interfere. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Ulrich Stein kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vito Bezerra to make the kick off. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
