Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marek Hamšík started the match with the kick off. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Iecēni's Olavs Eliass slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fodor Daniel. That made the score 1-0 after 2 minutes of play. Viktors Behmans received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fodor Daniel came out and tried to block the shot, but Viktors Behmans slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. FC Iecēni's Piotr Tworek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Hamšík in the 21st minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marek Hamšík could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marek Hamšík in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 27th minute of play forced FC Iecēni's goalkeeper Piotr Tworek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Hungary's Vörös Henrik to fire away a dangerous shot which Piotr Tworek despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Piotr Tworek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 30th minute of play. Fodor Daniel had great luck who in the 31stth minute grab hold of the ball when Viesturs Pilāns from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Piotr Tworek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vörös Henrik charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vörös Henrik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Piotr Tworek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Piotr Tworek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 43rd minute of play. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Piotr Tworek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Tworek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Antal Valentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 60 minutes, Viktors Behmans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Iecēni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktors Behmans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Hamšík, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When FC Iecēni's Marek Hamšík in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. Leons Gudrenieks was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Iecēni's players had a chance to rest. In the 82nd minute Viktors Behmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rdth minute of the game Marek Hamšík who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktors Behmans in the 85th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, FC Iecēni's Viesturs Pilāns nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After a rather tough play, FC Iecēni's Uvis Svitiņš got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
