Wincenty Buczko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Koszele SSA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Lars Meesters made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Koszele SSA's Wincenty Buczko managed to reach the ball for a save. David Eikelkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Wincenty Buczko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 minutes Koszele SSA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The Koszele SSA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Koszele SSA getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Roman Kanczuszewski hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wincenty Buczko. Wincenty Buczko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pape Bom in the 63rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pape Bom scored 1-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Koszele SSA made a substitution. Dawid Winograd replaced Andrzej Faron. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Netherlands's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Wincenty Buczko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Koszele SSA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Wim Wilmes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Wincenty Buczko made a huge save. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 78th minute. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wincenty Buczko quite easily take care of the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wincenty Buczko could save by the left post. Wincenty Buczko was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Wim Wilmes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wim Wilmes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. 85 minutes into the match, Koszele SSA's goalkeeper Wincenty Buczko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. With his leg Wincenty Buczko managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Przemyslaw Ziomkowski fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Koszele SSA's protests and gave Przemyslaw Ziomkowski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, Koszele SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Przemyslaw Ziomkowski to maneuver through the defense. Teofil Henryk hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Dawid Winograd notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Netherlands's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
