David Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Margots Kornieks in the 8th minute of play. German Silvanito struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. David Rotariu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GAUJA. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leroy Kluttig got free with Toms Felss in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 16th play minutes Zvonimir Prestin shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Toms Felss and just under the crossbar into goal. Patrick Middendorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toms Felss having to interfere. German Silvanito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Rotariu having to interfere. If Patrick Middendorf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when German Silvanito came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toms Felss didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zvonimir Prestin went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. David Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Silvanito, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The supporters of PoWer SC 2K5 booed when GAUJA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Silvanito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toms Felss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zvonimir Prestin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute Zvonimir Prestin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toms Felss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Lluis made a kick off. Toms Skirmanis kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. David Rotariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Lluis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toms Felss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zvonimir Prestin in the 58th minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the match PoWer SC 2K5 got a corner. GAUJA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Matthew Wagner ran over to the corner to take the kick. Matthew Wagner made a great header on PoWer SC 2K5's corner, it was just that GAUJA's Toms Felss managed to reach the ball for a save. Toms Felss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zvonimir Prestin in the 67th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PoWer SC 2K5's zone, Margots Kornieks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Rotariu came out of the goal and Margots Kornieks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Silvanito in the 78th minute of the match. Toms Felss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leroy Kluttig in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zvonimir Prestin in the 95th minute of play forced GAUJA's goalkeeper Toms Felss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's Leroy Kluttig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toms Felss narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PoWer SC 2K5 had played much better football throughout.
