With 21 minutes on the clock, Dráuzio Lima commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 25th minute of the match Irreal Madrid got a corner. Daustad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodolfo Trigo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodolfo Trigo to make the kick off. If Mieszko Pilsudski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noel Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Bonet in the 64th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Bonet in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noel Braga saved Irreal Madrid from getting behind.
