Holger Vester dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Totti came free, but Brazilio Butt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Holger Vester made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tanek Bobrowski in the 15th minute. A collision led to Hammarby IF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Kaj Björklund hit a great ball. Gösta Söderberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Brazilio Butt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Holger Vester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Hedin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The DIF LEEDS BK fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when DIF LEEDS BK's Mei Jie Feng looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hammarby IF's Holger Vester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Östen Hedin in the 25th minute of play. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

57 minutes into the match, Hammarby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Nordlander came free, but Holger Vester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Silviu Novac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Vester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brazilio Butt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Totti, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Holger Vester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mei Jie Feng in the 66th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Mei Jie Feng made a precise shot to the right of Holger Vester. Hammarby IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. DIF LEEDS BK made a substitution. Dennis Johnsson replaced Mei Jie Feng. DIF LEEDS BK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
