In the 6th match minute, Bloodthirsty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Njurenius to maneuver through the defense. Kenneth Biörkquist was a little too slow when Kevin Keegan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Kenneth Biörkquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Williams in the 14th minute of play. Skövde AIK's Georg Norström managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anders Njurenius in the 16 minute of the game. Kenneth Biörkquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Williams, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Kenneth Biörkquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 21st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Keegan during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Kevin Keegan hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Chen Ao Fan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kenneth Biörkquist. The goal made the score 2-0. 31 minutes into the game, Skövde AIK's Krister Uggstedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenneth Biörkquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 34th minute, Chen Ao Fan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenneth Biörkquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 38 minutes into the match, Chen Ao Fan notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Bloodthirsty FC's Kenneth Biörkquist. Kenneth Biörkquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 42 minutes into the game, Kevin Keegan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kenneth Biörkquist. Kevin Keegan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. After 46 minutes, Nils Lidström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bloodthirsty FC and the Skövde AIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Karl-Erik Norström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olof Västerberg in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Georg Norström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenneth Biörkquist. Bloodthirsty FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Georg Norström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Keegan in the 59th minute of play forced Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Biörkquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Skövde AIK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chen Ao Fan in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Krister Uggstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jerry Williams got free in front of the goal in the 66th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Kenneth Biörkquist was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Skövde AIK booed when Bloodthirsty FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Norberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Skövde AIK were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Bloodthirsty FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chen Ao Fan took the corner. Bloodthirsty FC's Elliott Bennet was substituted for Edvin Kullander. In the 88th minute, Kurt Hamrin made a precise shot to the right of Kenneth Biörkquist. Bloodthirsty FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Kruse in the 91st minute of play forced Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Biörkquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bloodthirsty FC's Kenneth Biörkquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Hamrin in the 94th minute of play.
