Hammarby IF's Celedonio Dominguez got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Francesco Totti reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Felix Martinsson. The goal made the score 1-0. Isak Ahlbeck hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Celedonio Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
