Mané Viana made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Zunbeltz Flamenco sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute Douglas Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ got a corner. C.R. KRAKER 81's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chico de Brito ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Chico de Brito almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.R. KRAKER 81's Vladimir de Sena did a great save. After 44 minutes of play, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Douglas Ferreira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimir de Sena was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zunbeltz Flamenco in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mané Viana saved Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Zunbeltz Flamenco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mané Viana was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Vladimir de Sena made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Carlinhos de Brito sent off a good shot on target. Vladimir de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos de Brito in the 72nd minute of the match. When Carlinhos de Brito came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlinhos de Brito couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, Menelaos Evaggellou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mané Viana. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Menelaos Evaggellou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Zunbeltz Flamenco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mané Viana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Mané Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Menelaos Evaggellou in the 89th minute of play.
