A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ciro Del Pizzo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 5 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christos Kostis got free with Fodor Daniel in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the match, ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Ciro Del Pizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alketas Tsirakis kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Christos Kostis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Roch Pisarczyk hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The supporters of Hungary booed when ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rex Drake didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes, Hungary's Antal Valentin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ciro Del Pizzo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hungary reached it. ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s Ciro Del Pizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 26th minute of play. In the 34th minute Hegedus Henrik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Del Pizzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s Ciro Del Pizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 35th minute of play. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Balazs Lajos got a free kick in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Kostis, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Del Pizzo having to interfere. In the 55thth minute of the game Harry Kane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Ciro Del Pizzo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Kostis in the 62nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rex Drake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏ made a substitution. Paraskevas Panagiotakos replaced Alketas Tsirakis. ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s Dionysis Souanis was substituted for Christos Kostis. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s goalkeeper Ciro Del Pizzo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏ made a substitution. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dionysis Souanis's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 76thth minute of the game Dionysis Souanis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Dionysis Souanis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Kane in the 89th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Maarten De Malier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maarten De Malier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Rex Drake might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rex Drake ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dionysis Souanis in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏ were victorious despite being under pressure from Hungary for much of the match.
