An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Shevchenko in the 12th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cox came free, but Gwidon Sienkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Micah Macdonald who took care of the corner kick. The corner led England's Caelan Hayes to fire away a dangerous shot which Gwidon Sienkowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gwidon Sienkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bogdan Zakrzewski hit a great ball. In the 26thth minute of the game Issac Dawson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY's Gwidon Sienkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute Micah Macdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Sienkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacy Kalemba during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ignacy Kalemba hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Kyle Cox's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gwidon Sienkowski was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Micah Macdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Kyle Cox ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gwidon Sienkowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kyle Cox made a kick off. Mariusz Hajduk kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Gwidon Sienkowski was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Micah Macdonald. Kyle Cox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gwidon Sienkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 played minutes ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY got a freekick which was hit by Arkadiusz Lewkowicz. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eddie Willis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orvar Offendahl in the 61st minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of England booed when ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwidon Moryl didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 minutes of play ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY's Ignacy Kalemba was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 85th minute, Kyle Cox made a precise shot to the right of Gwidon Sienkowski. ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After 94 played minutes ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY got a freekick which was hit by Arkadiusz Lewkowicz. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Kyle Cox managed to get in a good position for a shot. England's supporters rose to their feet, but Kyle Cox was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gwidon Sienkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The England supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing England would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
