An unexpectedly hard shot by David Eikelkamp in the 19th minute of play forced Manchester united's goalkeeper Erik Algren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Gustaaf Groeneveldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Algren was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Wei Kun Lin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Gust Ennemans hit a great ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldo Sharkin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Wei Kun Lin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, Manchester united was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Lundin to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Carl Lindgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wei Kun Lin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gust Ennemans to maneuver through the defense.
