Karol Pierz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Buendia in the 7th minute of the match. Abasto FC were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after RED BLUE STAR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Efrain Guillelmo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Efrain Guillelmo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Karol Pierz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 11th minute 姚然军 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Pilkington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match, Răzvan Spineanu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leon Pilkington saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Abasto FC booed when RED BLUE STAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Văleanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Spineanu in the 16th minute of play forced Abasto FC's goalkeeper Leon Pilkington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Pilkington made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Valentin Omescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute Răzvan Spineanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Pilkington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Valentin Omescu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Leon Pilkington to make any attempt to save it. In the 24thth minute of the game Răzvan Spineanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abasto FC's Leon Pilkington was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Filiberto Cordarryl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abasto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RED BLUE STAR the free kick. After a rather tough play, Abasto FC's Filiberto Cordarryl got a free kick in the 27th minute. Leon Pilkington was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Răzvan Spineanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. Răzvan Spineanu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Leon Pilkington skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Buendia in the 37th minute of play forced RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Karol Pierz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Răzvan Spineanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Pilkington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Felix Dragnea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leon Pilkington. The goal made the score 3-0. Leon Pilkington was a little too slow when Valentin Omescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 4-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sorin Manciu was the one to do the kick off. Abasto FC's Leon Pilkington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Omescu in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Abasto FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Gabriel-Omar Batista hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Abasto FC's zone, Sorin Manciu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Pilkington came out of the goal and Sorin Manciu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon Pilkington didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sorin Manciu went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 64 minutes into the match, Abasto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sorin Manciu came free, but Leon Pilkington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Abasto FC's Norberto Camerino got a free kick in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sorin Manciu in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Pilkington saved Abasto FC from getting behind. Leon Pilkington came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by RED BLUE STAR's 姚然军. But to his dismay, 姚然军 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Sorin Manciu sped through Abasto FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leon Pilkington. 81 minutes into the match, Abasto FC's goal looked a bit too open when 姚然军 came free, but Leon Pilkington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 姚然军 in the 83rd minute of play forced Abasto FC's goalkeeper Leon Pilkington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th match minute, RED BLUE STAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 姚然军 to maneuver through the defense. Leon Pilkington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sorin Manciu in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Abasto FC's Gabriel-Omar Batista got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute of the match Leszek Pankiewicz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Pilkington showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leon Pilkington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sorin Manciu in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the RED BLUE STAR players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
