Leon Pilkington didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luca Popeangă went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Abasto FC's Leon Pilkington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Cruz in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Francisco Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Pilkington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Popeangă in the 12th minute of play forced Abasto FC's goalkeeper Leon Pilkington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvah Buck in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Pilkington saved Abasto FC from getting behind. Emiliano Buendia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wen Han Xi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Abasto FC's goalkeeper Leon Pilkington had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ayalon Zifer. Alvah Buck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Pilkington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvah Buck in the 30th minute of the match. When Gabriel-Omar Batista came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Abasto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel-Omar Batista couldn't finish the play. Norberto Camerino hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. F.C. Golasso's Alvah Buck shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 38th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leon Pilkington but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Cruz got free with Leon Pilkington in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the match, F.C. Golasso's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel-Omar Batista came free, but Wen Han Xi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Cruz was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Ayalon Zifer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Pilkington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Abasto FC defense, Ayalon Zifer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Pilkington. The Abasto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Pilkington should have stopped the shot. Emiliano Buendia charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emiliano Buendia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leon Pilkington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvah Buck, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes Abasto FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel-Omar Batista. In the 68th minute, Luca Popeangă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leon Pilkington was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 71st minute, Norberto Camerino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Abasto FC's zone, Alvah Buck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Pilkington came out of the goal and Alvah Buck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Francisco Cruz put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Leon Pilkington. In the 86th minute, Emiliano Buendia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. F.C. Golasso walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
