In the 4th minute, Gabriel-Omar Batista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ★Independiente Ψ★ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Gabriel-Omar Batista notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of BOMBILLO's Jóhann Padilla. Jóhann Padilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 11 minutes into the match, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Gabriel-Omar Batista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jóhann Padilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Gabriel-Omar Batista made a precise shot to the right of Jóhann Padilla. BOMBILLO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 18 minutes into the match, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Cristian Jaunti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jóhann Padilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute Gabriel-Omar Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jóhann Padilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, BOMBILLO's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel-Omar Batista came free, but Jóhann Padilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Jay-Jay Okocha notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of BOMBILLO's Jóhann Padilla. Jóhann Padilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicolas Salomon made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gabriel-Omar Batista immediately put the ball in play. Jay-Jay Okocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jóhann Padilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Jay-Jay Okocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ★Independiente Ψ★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jay-Jay Okocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th match minute, BOMBILLO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Amenedo to maneuver through the defense. Jóhann Padilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 41st minute of the match. ★Independiente Ψ★'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adan Aresti in the 42nd minute. A well done corner resulted in Lázaro Rufo drilling the ball in to score 0-6 behind BOMBILLO's goalkeeper. In the 46th match minute, ★Independiente Ψ★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Hotz to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gabriel-Omar Batista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Jóhann Padilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 53 minutes into the game, Gabriel-Omar Batista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Jóhann Padilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gabriel-Omar Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Gabriel-Omar Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jóhann Padilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel-Omar Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Jay-Jay Okocha got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Jóhann Padilla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. BOMBILLO's Jóhann Padilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save BOMBILLO from getting a goal against them. ★Independiente Ψ★'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adan Aresti in the 71st minute. A nice corner shot did that Jairo Hotz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jóhann Padilla quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 74 minutes into the match, Gabriel-Omar Batista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jóhann Padilla. BOMBILLO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel-Omar Batista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Falcão Botelho was substituted for Nicolas Salomon. Glenn Sande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jóhann Padilla having to interfere. Gabriel-Omar Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gabriel-Omar Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Jóhann Padilla made a huge save. After a rather tough play, BOMBILLO's Alex Fortis got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind BOMBILLO's goalkeeper Jóhann Padilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Glenn Sande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alex Fortis charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Fortis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ★Independiente Ψ★ booed when BOMBILLO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Fortis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the BOMBILLO defense, Gabriel-Omar Batista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jóhann Padilla. The BOMBILLO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jóhann Padilla should have stopped the shot.
