Vygandas Damašas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gustavo Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algitas Girkantas in the 26th minute of play. Motiejus Baikštys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Gustavo Guimarães made a huge save. Gustavo Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Absoliut. Absoliut's Vygandas Damašas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Florinio in the 34th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Club Deportivo Águila got a freekick which was hit by Knud Venzin.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dário Diniz was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Marijonas Mikutavičius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Guimarães was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Baltazar Oporto got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When Algitas Girkantas came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Absoliut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Algitas Girkantas couldn't finish the play. After 93 minutes, William Corpeño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Águila and the Absoliut players grew even worse after the yellow card. Absoliut were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
