After a rather tough play, Visma Sea's Troy Riells got a free kick in the 15th minute. Jacobus Hindriks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th minute, Koen Waterman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Visma Sea's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ronald Hofman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 41 minutes, Dabi Echeto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dabi Echeto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Cordairo Irureta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Israel. SAFA United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cordairo Irureta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jan Israel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After 61 minutes of play SAFA United's Koen Waterman was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jacobus Hindriks came free in the 66th minute and tried to tip the ball over Iban Escobar, but to the joy of Visma Sea's supporters the ball went over. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ambrosio Dellasierra in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Israel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SAFA United made a substitution. Erik Vonk replaced Ronald Hofman. In the 73rd match minute, Visma Sea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arxel Marines to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, SAFA United's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Dellasierra came free, but Jan Israel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SAFA United's Wilfred Veldman was substituted for Guus Schophuis. The Visma Sea players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
