Jan Israel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Dellasierra in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Ronald Hofman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Arjan Mos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dabi Echeto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, SAFA United's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Dellasierra came free, but Jan Israel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Ambrosio Dellasierra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Israel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes SAFA United got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Hofman. When Dabi Echeto came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Visma Sea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dabi Echeto couldn't finish the play. Joost Reitsma hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Jan Israel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Dellasierra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iban Escobar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Hofman in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronald Hofman to strike the kick off in the second half. SAFA United's Joost Reitsma got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronald Hofman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Visma Sea's Iban Escobar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Hofman in the 65th minute of play. If Ambrosio Dellasierra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SAFA United made a substitution. Erik Vonk replaced Ronald Hofman. Erik Vonk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iban Escobar having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beturian Solano during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dimitrie Oortwijn lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SAFA United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! SAFA United's Otto van Dijk was substituted for Dennis Holten. SAFA United's Wilfred Veldman was substituted for Guus Schophuis. Erik Vonk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Iban Escobar made a huge save. 93 minutes into the match, Erik Vonk notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Visma Sea's Iban Escobar. Iban Escobar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dabi Echeto in the 98th minute of play forced SAFA United's goalkeeper Jan Israel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
