The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Mielak got free with Slawomir Kicia in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the game, KS Powstańcy's Rafal Hajder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mikolaj Piszczor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Rafal Hajder managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Powstańcy's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafal Hajder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikolaj Piszczor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Eugeniusz Walczak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mikolaj Piszczor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Gunners ARS's Milosz Raszek got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Eugeniusz Walczak made a precise shot to the right of Mikolaj Piszczor. Gunners ARS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Rafal Hajder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikolaj Piszczor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
