La France's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, La France's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Tijerina came free, but Gregorio George reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to La France getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rodolfo Nevada hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in La France's zone, Laureano Donallo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio George came out of the goal and Laureano Donallo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Eudoxio Alvadalejo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martxel Bernia struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Gregorio George didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Buceo. Gregorio George took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Donallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th match minute, La France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Abaurre to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, Carolo Maties was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La France's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Buceo the free kick. Carolo Maties kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Eudoxio Alvadalejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 minutes, Laureano Donallo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. La France's Gregorio George tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With 43 minutes on the clock, Gutierrre Valseca commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of La France booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gutierrre Valseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Buceo's zone, Rodolfo Nevada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillen Ubiña came out of the goal and Rodolfo Nevada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laureano Donallo to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Laureano Donallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregorio George was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 54th minute Fulgencio Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Ubiña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 played minutes, La France's Melchor Gabirel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guillen Ubiña came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La France reached it. In the 56th minute, Melchor Gabirel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidoro Romeu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Sporting Buceo got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Cepa. Guillen Ubiña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Fernandes in the 75th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Laureano Donallo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gregorio George, 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Eudoxio Alvadalejo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Buceo's supporters rose to their feet, but Eudoxio Alvadalejo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio George breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Laureano Donallo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gregorio George. That made the score 0-4 in the 90 minute of play. After a rather tough play, La France's Fulgencio Abaurre got a free kick in the 96th minute. Laureano Donallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sporting Buceo played a much better game than La France and deserved their victory. The La France players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
