Kurt Wüthrich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Slawomir Kicia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henri Schwersenz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in KS Powstańcy's zone, Henri Schwersenz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Slawomir Kicia came out of the goal and Henri Schwersenz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute Lenny Rubin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slawomir Kicia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafal Hajder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikola Portner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Espen Steelers's Laurenzo Wagner dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. KS Powstańcy's Slawomir Kicia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save KS Powstańcy from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Andy Schmid could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Slawomir Kicia however easily saved by the left post. In the 25th minute, Rafal Hajder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Espen Steelers's Andy Schmid slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Slawomir Kicia. That made the score 3-0 after 30 minutes of play. After 36 minutes, Lenny Rubin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espen Steelers and the KS Powstańcy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Espen Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenny Rubin to maneuver through the defense. Slawomir Kicia was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Hassan Widmer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hassan Widmer really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. When Andy Schmid came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Espen Steelers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Schmid couldn't finish the play. Giancarlo Weissmuller hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Nikola Portner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugeniusz Walczak in the 52nd minute of the match. Slawomir Kicia came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Espen Steelers's Andy Schmid. But to his dismay, Andy Schmid quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 57 played minutes KS Powstańcy got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Walczak. After having played for 58 minutes, Laurenzo Wagner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espen Steelers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurenzo Wagner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Slawomir Kicia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Wüthrich in the 64th minute of play. Fabian Schär sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Giancarlo Weissmuller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, KS Powstańcy's Wojciech Domala got a free kick in the 75th minute. KS Powstańcy's Slawomir Kicia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Schär in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Clement Rothstein ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Slawomir Kicia was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Slawomir Kicia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clement Rothstein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kurt Wüthrich struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Slawomir Kicia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espen Steelers. KS Powstańcy's Slawomir Kicia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janis Moser in the 94th minute of play. Henri Schwersenz hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Espen Steelers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
