The Sporting Buceo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillen Ubiña should have stopped the shot. Bartoleme Ceja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bartoleme Ceja came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Sporting Buceo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartoleme Ceja couldn't finish the play. Sporting Buceo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Jacek Walczak scored to the left of an out of position Guillen Ubiña, making the score, 2-1. Jacek Walczak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Guillen Ubiña made a huge save. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Jacek Walczak sped through Sporting Buceo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guillen Ubiña. Sporting Buceo's Guillen Ubiña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Walczak in the 30th minute of play. Liu Yong Yong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martxel Bernia in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piearres Somiedo to maneuver through the defense. Guillen Ubiña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Songurhan Mete, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Liu Yong Yong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartoleme Ceja in the 36th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Songurhan Mete made a precise shot to the right of Guillen Ubiña. Sporting Buceo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

In the 64th minute Jacek Walczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Ubiña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Iordache Opincaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OROTINENSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iordache Opincaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Sporting Buceo defense, Songurhan Mete kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillen Ubiña. The Sporting Buceo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillen Ubiña should have stopped the shot. OROTINENSE's Jimmy-Floyd Sung was substituted for Songurhan Mete. The supporters of OROTINENSE booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidoro Romeu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 minutes, Ruhi Uluöz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OROTINENSE and the Sporting Buceo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bartoleme Ceja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. OROTINENSE's Jimmy-Floyd Sung suffered a concussion after 90 minutes and had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Gutierrre Valseca got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Bartoleme Ceja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liu Yong Yong having to interfere. OROTINENSE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
