Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mauro Pabla took the kick off in the first half of the match. Danilo Veto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clement Rothstein, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Lenny Rubin hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Danilo Veto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenny Rubin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Ovando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Nikola Portner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Antonio Ovando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Danilo Veto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clement Rothstein in the 20th minute of play. Danilo Lope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikola Portner having to interfere. Antonio Ovando in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nikola Portner, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 27th minute Kurt Wüthrich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Veto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, Espen Steelers's Laurenzo Wagner made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danilo Veto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Danilo Veto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenny Rubin in the 31st minute of play. After 32 played minutes Del Materno Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Illan. In the 36th minute, Lenny Rubin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Espen Steelers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Danilo Veto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Wüthrich in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Espen Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clement Rothstein to maneuver through the defense. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Klaas Frei replaced Lenny Rubin. After 42 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Clement Rothstein. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Nikola Portner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Espen Steelers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when David Dei scored to the left of an out of position Nikola Portner, making the score, 1-3. With a little luck, Espen Steelers's Nikola Portner got control of the ball when David Dei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andy Schmid stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Danilo Veto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andy Schmid in the 51st minute. When Octavio Chus fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Del Materno Vengo's protests and gave Octavio Chus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Clement Rothstein ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Veto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. When David Dei came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Del Materno Vengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Dei couldn't finish the play. After 57 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Klaas Frei. In the 60th minute Mauro Pabla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikola Portner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Veto was a little too slow when Andy Schmid got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-5. Espen Steelers's Fabian Schär was substituted for Laurenzo Wagner. 67 minutes into the match, Klaas Frei dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Danilo Veto, 1-6. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Christian Witzig replaced Hassan Widmer. Danilo Veto came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Espen Steelers's Andy Schmid. But to his dismay, Andy Schmid quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. David Dei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikola Portner having to interfere. Danilo Veto made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Klaas Frei sent off a good shot on target. Danilo Veto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klaas Frei in the 88th minute of play. Del Materno Vengo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Fabian Schär scored to the left of an out of position Danilo Veto, making the score, 1-9. In the 95th minute Fabian Schär shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Veto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Espen Steelers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Del Materno Vengo.
