After a rather tough play, Espen Steelers's Laurenzo Wagner got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, Aquiles Bartolome ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikola Portner was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 10th minute, Andy Schmid ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascual Demario was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Pascual Demario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clement Rothstein in the 12th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Espen Steelers's Laurenzo Wagner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pascual Demario. That made the score 2-1 after 14 minutes of play. Bairoletto FC's Pascual Demario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenny Rubin in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Lauro in the 23rd minute of play forced Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Nikola Portner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Espen Steelers booed when Bairoletto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Leheren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bairoletto FC's Pascual Demario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurenzo Wagner in the 25th minute of play. Hassan Widmer hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Nikola Portner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquiles Bartolome went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Bairoletto FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Clodoveo Lauro hit a great ball. After 37 minutes of play, Espen Steelers's Kurt Wüthrich made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascual Demario was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andy Schmid to strike the kick off in the second half. Pascual Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurenzo Wagner in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Andy Schmid made a precise shot to the right of Pascual Demario. Bairoletto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. After having played for 61 minutes, Aquiles Bartolome managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bairoletto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Bartolome was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Kurt Wüthrich came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Espen Steelers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Wüthrich couldn't finish the play. Pascual Demario came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Espen Steelers's Klaas Frei. But to his dismay, Klaas Frei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Aquiles Bartolome kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Aquiles Bartolome hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Kurt Wüthrich took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pascual Demario. Pascual Demario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. 88 minutes into the game, Andy Schmid cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-2. Pascual Demario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Bairoletto FC defense, Klaas Frei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascual Demario. The Bairoletto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascual Demario should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bairoletto FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Espen Steelers.
