The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Kind of Blue booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Steven didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhuo Ke Le, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Sebastian Käller took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anders Lundqvist. Anders Lundqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 14th minute, Sebastian Käller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anders Lundqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 19 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Käller came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Golden Lions FC fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golden Lions FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 31 minutes, Loco Durazno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kind of Blue's Tonhão Rodrigues quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Igor Dzierwa, made in the 36th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loco Durazno in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilhelm Galle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Loco Durazno struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Wilhelm Galle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Lions FC. 42 minutes into the game, Sebastian Käller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Anders Lundqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sebastian Käller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Kind of Blue were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Käller to strike the kick off in the second half. Anastasios Pallini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Anders Lundqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilhelm Galle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Durazno in the 59th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Dzierwa. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Leo Strömbom replaced Georg Termander. In the 63rd minute, Igor Dzierwa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Golden Lions FC's Cosme Larpe was substituted for Marcelo Steven. Golden Lions FC's attentive Igor Dzierwa managed to snatch the ball when Östen Högman made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. A collision led to Kind of Blue getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ardahan Erginer hit a great ball. Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan was substituted for Loco Durazno.
