Sören Tunberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jardel Baggio. With a little luck, Wargön's Sören Tunberg got control of the ball when João Vítor Porto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Nils-Arne Nilsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivar Siöberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nilson Peres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivar Siöberg's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. When Wargön's Ivar Siöberg in 62 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot.
