But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lionel Messias couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Iban to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artaç Hendekli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes STAL ST WOLA got a freekick which was hit by Hao Feng Jie. Fabio Artaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artaç Hendekli in the 34th minute of play. Carlos Germano came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by STAL ST WOLA's Lionel Messias. But to his dismay, Lionel Messias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Carlos Germano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artaç Hendekli went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Slawomir Sniegowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slawomir Sniegowski in the 53rd minute of the match. Slawomir Sniegowski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carlos Germano firmly grabbed it by the left post. Aquiles Oihenarte kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match.
