Ivar Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Maradona in the 10th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Scrotum Kickers FC's Gonzalo Maradona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivar Albohm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rikard Hägglund kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Strömsbro IF's zone, Gonzalo Maradona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Albohm came out of the goal and Gonzalo Maradona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivar Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosmin Donecea in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Hans Asplund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Cosmin Donecea made a precise shot to the right of Ivar Albohm. Strömsbro IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 40th minute, Cosmin Donecea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Furlit in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute of the match, Tony Skarkman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Per-Oskar Söderström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Örjan Frisk made a kick off. Ivar Albohm made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Zbigniew Furlit sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute, Strömsbro IF's Bror Torstensson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bror Torstensson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Strömsbro IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bror Torstensson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 54 minutes into the game, one of Strömsbro IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Strömsbro IF's attentive Henric Ek managed to snatch the ball when Gonzalo Maradona made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. If Örjan Frisk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Scrotum Kickers FC's Rudolf Gråberg was substituted for Gonzalo Maradona. Scrotum Kickers FC's Dawid Barycz was substituted for Hans Asplund. Örjan Frisk struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Per-Oskar Söderström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strömsbro IF. Strömsbro IF made a substitution. After some careless play in the Strömsbro IF defense, Cosmin Donecea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivar Albohm. The Strömsbro IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivar Albohm should have stopped the shot. Per-Oskar Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Frisk in the 93rd minute of play. Scrotum Kickers FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
