Dennis Beerthuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gong Zhi Peng in the 41st minute of play. Winthont FC's Hermengildo Nesor got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Marius Macovei made the kick off in the second half. Gigel Zăvoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Nesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a long run with the ball, Marius Macovei did a trick in the 76th minute in front of Winthont FC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-5.
