Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Victor Vidal got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna got control of the ball when Bernardo Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Bernardo Matos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cássio de Senna, 1-0. Cássio de Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sidney Barbosa in the 18th minute. In the 18th minute, Narciso Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Corumbaense F.C.'s Bernardo Matos got a free kick in the 25th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Paulista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corumbaense F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poetass FC the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Corumbaense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Paulista to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anísio Sergipano in the 42nd minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper Cássio de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Prestes made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Barbosa in the 54th minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper Cássio de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Prestes took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cássio de Senna. Cássio de Senna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The supporters of Poetass FC booed when Corumbaense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Luiz Fabiano Ortiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Cássio de Senna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anísio Sergipano scored 5-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio de Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cássio de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anísio Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Cássio de Senna came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Corumbaense F.C.'s Bernardo Matos. But to his dismay, Bernardo Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. There was no doubt that Corumbaense F.C. were the better team. Corumbaense F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
