The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Albin Holweck a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when 庞昂迪 tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of 上海浦东戈士队's 罗风远. 罗风远 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, 上海浦东戈士队's 庞昂迪 got a free kick in the 56th minute. 罗风远 was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Sachs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 57 minute of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 庞昂迪 in the 74th minute of play. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 庞昂迪's shot from short distance in the 76th minute.
