Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hasan Tahsin İltemur started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Gwidon Brak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Puja SE's Árpád Kerekes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 4th minute of play. Chris Mergenthaler charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chris Mergenthaler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. Puja SE's Gwidon Brak shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tommy Kahn but with some difficulty. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvestrs Zupenieks showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. When %teams%'s Silvestrs Zupenieks was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-0 just inside the left pole, 15 minutes into the game. Tommy Kahn was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beremundo Turrilla in the 20th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Dreifuss during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestrs Zupenieks in the 28th minute of play. Albin Holweck's late challenge caught a Puja SE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albin Holweck helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. In the 40th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Árpád Kerekes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute of the game Tamás Benkó made a throw-in which Hasan Tahsin İltemur played forward. Tamás Benkó was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. After 57 minutes of play, Puja SE's Silvestrs Zupenieks made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Germany's Sven Krakouer got a free kick in the 64th minute. Puja SE's Silvestrs Zupenieks got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Árpád Kerekes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 74 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. In the 86th minute Silvestrs Zupenieks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute Puja SE were awarded a corner. Gwidon Brak went to the cornerflag to take it. Puja SE's Gwidon Brak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Silvestrs Zupenieks might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvestrs Zupenieks ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Árpád Kerekes. Puja SE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Sachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Árpád Kerekes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
