Grzegorz Mazurkiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Ernst Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Kees Mooiweer with Lars Meesters as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 21 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Holger Mogren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernst Vestlund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Arnout Reekers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Holger Mogren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Holger Mogren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Ernst Vestlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. FcBosna No1's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernst Vestlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FcBosna No1's Holger Mogren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 39th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Kees Mooiweer got a free kick in the 54th minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Vestlund in the 55th minute of play. After 65 played minutes FcBosna No1 got a freekick which was hit by 贺德诚. The supporters of Netherlands booed when FcBosna No1 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Nyberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holger Mogren was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer. Holger Mogren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 70th minute of the match. After 71 minutes FcBosna No1's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. In the 73rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Holger Mogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 78th minute of play. After 79 minutes FcBosna No1's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Netherlands's Lars Meesters to fire away a dangerous shot which Holger Mogren despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Vestlund came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 minutes, Ernst Vestlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FcBosna No1 and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FcBosna No1's Ernst Vestlund got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Holger Mogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 92nd minute of play. Kees Mooiweer made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bas Tuitert.
