After 8 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Heinz-Gerd Bonin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Heinz-Gerd Bonin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 12th minute of play. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uwe-Jens Röttger in the 13th minute of play. Uwe-Jens Röttger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Uwe-Jens Röttger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Uwe-Jens Röttger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uwe-Jens Röttger in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Uwe-Jens Röttger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Belgium's Yves Dervaux got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Heinz-Gerd Bonin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siebe Michiels in the 30th minute of the match. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uwe-Jens Röttger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Belgium's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ari Brantwein took the corner. After 39 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Heinz-Gerd Bonin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 45 played minutes 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz got a freekick which was hit by Andras Gafus. 47 minutes into the match, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goal looked a bit too open when Siebe Michiels came free, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 48 minutes 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Vanderstraeten who took care of the corner kick. Belgium's Simon Sabbe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half Belgium were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute, Timos Karabelas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uwe-Jens Röttger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin made a huge save. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goalkeeper Heinz-Gerd Bonin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Heinz-Gerd Bonin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Dervaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Willmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goalkeeper Heinz-Gerd Bonin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Marcus Willmann. But to his dismay, Marcus Willmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. With a little luck, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Heinz-Gerd Bonin got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Heinz-Gerd Bonin in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Matti Erkiner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Matti Erkiner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Belgium's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
