Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ulises Gartzen took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Ulises Gartzen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 4th play minute Ulises Gartzen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Wilson Amorim. 1-0. Grosso United's Jonas Bladi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 8th minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Xacintu in the 13th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Viriato Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Bladi was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eduardo Gonchan in the 17 minute of the game. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Bladi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Jonas Bladi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 19th minute of the match. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Viriato Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Bladi was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Eduardo Gonchan hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jonas Bladi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 33rd minute of the match. When Alejo Bastiaro fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grosso United's protests and gave Alejo Bastiaro a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Grosso United got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Bastiaro. Jonas Bladi came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Viriato Moura. But to his dismay, Viriato Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jonas Bladi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 48 minutes into the game, Portugal's Caetano Moreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Bladi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Moura to make the kick off. Jonas Bladi made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Viriato Moura sent off a good shot on target. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Abelsson in the 54th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Jonas Bladi threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felipe Barreto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Grosso United made a substitution. Mauro Mendez replaced Åke Abelsson. The supporters of Grosso United booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Pimentel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Gustavo da Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Cayetano Xacintu notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ulises Gartzen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Gartzen in the 74th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Grosso United's goalkeeper Jonas Bladi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartolomeu Dias. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Felipinho Amorim hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Ulises Gartzen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grosso United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Gartzen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cayetano Xacintu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Xacintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Bartolomeu Dias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grosso United's Jonas Bladi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 93rd minute of play forced Grosso United's goalkeeper Jonas Bladi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 98 minutes, Bruno Bastos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portugal and the Grosso United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 98 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Portugal! Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
