Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Pedro Troglio hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Zvonimir Turković tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 10 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Mathijn Doctor. In the 12th minute, Saul Osoro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 13th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Velloso. Patas Duras FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Osoro came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patas Duras FC's Saul Osoro got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Zvonimir Turković tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Velloso having to interfere. In the 26th minute Gregorio Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 27th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Velloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran back to his position shaking his head. Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Netherlands's Lars Meesters got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 0-3 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Velloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Rodrigo Velloso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Patas Duras FC's Rodrigo Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Patas Duras FC from getting a goal against them. Rodrigo Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zvonimir Turković in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Patas Duras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Rodrigo Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Gregorio Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Rodrigo Velloso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dário Jacinto's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dário Jacinto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Patas Duras FC's Dário Jacinto got a free kick in the 88th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 0-4 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Velloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gregorio Gabon kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Netherlands played a much better game than Patas Duras FC and deserved their victory. The Patas Duras FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
